What is SUP Yoga?

Our 60 minute SUP Yoga classes encompass yoga and pilates, all while balancing on a paddleboard. Whether you are a beginner to paddleboarding or yoga/pilates, all are welcome to our classes. The cost of the class is $35 which includes a life jacket, paddle, and paddleboard.

*PLEASE ARRIVE 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class to leave time for parking, check-in and paddle sizing.
If the class times do not work for your group, private classes may be scheduled anytime during the week and weekend mornings.

Group size must be a minimum of 6 people. Private classes are $35 per person with an additional $100 flat fee. We do not offer a discount for bringing your own board for private classes.

SUP Yoga FAQ

Not at all. You will surprise yourself how quickly you learn how to learn to Stand Up Paddle. Just paddling your board is an excellent workout. You’ll also find the progression of yoga and balance techniques you learn will get you very comfortable on your board.

Dress to get wet! Any swimwear is appropriate for SUP Yoga. Want to wear your yoga clothes? That works too! Just opt for synthetic fabrics. Sunglasses, hats are fine but only if they’re tethered to your beautiful noggin. All other personal belongings like bags, purses, towels, and shoes should be locked in your car.

Most likely yes! Expect to take a swim or two. It’s part of the fun! The boards will be anchored during class to easily get back on your board!

Yes! You need to be able to move freely on your board. We do not wear life vests or the board’s ankle leash during the yoga practice portion of the class. If you fall in, you must be able to tread water, swim back to your board and climb back on (while laughing).

Please leave your most valued valuables at your home or locked in your car. (We can hold your keys at the rental) Marsh Creek Watersports cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal items.

Students must be at least 18 years old. Students between the ages of 12 and 18 must have signed permission from a legal guardian. Students under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

All classes will still run if there is light rain or winds. Classes and Workshops may be canceled on the day of your lesson if the instructor deems the conditions are not safe our students. When a class is canceled, you will be able to reschedule your class or receive a refund.

It is important that you notify us of a cancellation 24 hours before the class start time so that someone else can take your place. To cancel your class, please send us an email, give us a call, or use our online booking system. Classes are non-refundable after the 24-hour mark unless weather causes cancellation due to safety concerns. If you’d like to cancel your class within the 24-hour cut off period, a refund/rescheduling will not be possible.
